I'm up to my eyeballs clearing out/tidying up a double garage... we have two cars, a surfboard (now up in the rafters) a sailing dinghy, a trailer (currently under the boat) and soon to be a gyroplane under construction. It's become a real estate problem. :D
What's the most amusing/ difficult/ frustrating experiences anybody's had finding a space large/high enough to build their flying machine?

John. A TWO car garage? How luxurious :D My first gyro was built in a studio apartment! Kitchen, bathroom bedroom all in the same room. Try eating at the table with aluminum parts...tools and an engine under the sink. Then 'ya gotta take it apart just to get it out. Challenging...but more than worth it. Have fun!!!

Built a fixed-wing minimax in a tiny 2'nd floor apartment!

I got tired of it also. I had 3 classic cars, plus the drivers, 7 total, plus about 13 motorcycles. so I sold the house and bought a 5000 sq ft hangar with an 1100 sq ft apartment upstairs. :)
My wife "Mary" says she doesn't ever want to hear me complain about not having enough space to work now.
Now I can make a BIG mess.

Bloody hell! And I thought I was having issues. :)
Allan, did you have a significant other in the same space?

It has been my experance that the challange will expand to use all available space and money. That is how I know that I must be having fun. Thank you, Vance
