Hi Dave,A complete set of plans are hard to come up with for the Bensen. When I built the Gadget I made copies from a set of plans from Glenn Bundy.Although the prints where enough to give the dimentions for construction, they where not a complete set as would have come from the Bensen factory.Last year i was watching E-BAY & was able to get a complete set of plans from a fellow that was going to build but never did.They do pop up on there ever now & then.As far as wood blade plans I don`t think they where included with the plan kit.I will have to get them out & see if they are there.Someone on this forum might have a set ?Keep your eye on E-BAY! ;)

Dave , I have several of the books by Benson. From the glider to the motorized version. I have been trying to get a friend to type the books and scan the pictures to put it all on CD so it can be perserved for more people. I will post on the forum when they are complete. But I do not expect to have any thing ready before Feb.

Dave if you are going the Bensen route, Rick Whittridge and Mike Gaspard are two names you don,t want to forget.

Nope, done a gyrobee and a kb2, this time it is the 3drv for me! I have done business with Rick before on my kb2, great guy and gave me alot of advice and help with my mac, best running engine I had so far. I am doing a 3drv with a geo engine this time. Bensen stuff is just for my collection of old aircraft books and plans.

Mark,
Do you still have your Bensen gyro? and will you be going to any of our flyins, or have I missed you?

You can also get the Bensen plans and Bensen manuals from vortech but the set was about a hundred buck if I remember right.

These plans are kinda in the vein of bolt part A to part B. But the info did include building the wooden rotor blades.

The Ken Brock plans have most of the parts dimensioned and calls out most of the materials. The rotor head and blades and cyclic was not included. These I think you would have to find a used set of.

If all else fails, you may want to try this;
