All,
I made the initial purchase of material from Aircraft Spruce this afternoon for my Hornet. I have all of my 4130 tube on the way. Now here's the kicker...
I was informed that the only mill in the US that produces 4130 sheet stock (.125 thick and less) has gone out of business and that current supplies are drying up fast! Has anyone else heard this?
If I can't find any 4130 sheet stock, then I'm going to have to either 1) substitute material, 2) redesign the Hornet, or 3) build a swing set with all of the tube I just bought today and forget about gyros altogether!
All input welcome
Don

Don,
Did you ever find an alternative supplier for the 4130?
