Howdy all.

Finally got the AL & 4130 tube/angle/plate stock for the airframe. Wicks really did a great job of packaging... took 20 minutes to crack open the crate. Wife took some pix of the first day with my new baby! There is one tube however that I will send back because of a minor ding near an edge. But everything else looked very good. I contacted Wicks about the return of that tube and they were very nice about it. I think they already have a replacement on the way, no questions asked. Hows THAT for great service?

Pix:
1. Initial inspection of materials. Spent 2 hours examining every surface.
2. Hilighted some minor damage. Everything else looked great.
3. I love the smell of packing foam in the morning!
4. Wicks also shipped a new catalog with the packing list. Nice touch.

Cheers,
Brian Jackson

That "damage" picture is kinda fuzzy, but are you sure that ding isn't something you can buff out?

Those foam peanuts aren't as good as the real ones. They'll give you indigestion, trust me, I know!!

HEY! I didnt get a free catalog when I ordered my stuff, what gives?

No. It's more like a small cluster of pits, rather than a "ding." No big deal to swap out though.

Might be better with a little salsa...

So have you started yet? Or are you still setting up your shop?

As far as the catalog goes, its probably based on a dollar amount, I only ordered about $35 from them, while you ordered close to $300...

I still am looking for a good tube and fabric tail assembly. What I don't understand is how people put the fabric on when is assembled. I thought you covered the indivdual pieces then put it together...
