How Many Gyro Pilots?

I am sure that this question has been posed before on the Forum but could not find it.

I cannot imagine that there too many however it would be interesting to know if there are any statistics, guess-estimates or even just WAG's on numbers.

Gyro pilots in the US?

UK?

France?

Germany?

Russia?

South Africa?

Australia?

NZ?

Other countries that I've missed?

The FAA has a download-able pilot database that could probably be searched for specific ratings. It's rather large so I haven't done it, but here's a link:
