Ron :
From a safety viewpoint the flying done in this video is way more risky than the Ivan video.
However most of the risk is the manouvers done inside the HV curve.
What i was wondering is why it was filmed?

From Dennis Kenyon's webpage:
"IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT HELICOPTERS
You should be talking to Dennis Kenyon.
Dennis is an ex Royal Air Force fixed wing pilot who has been involved in rotary wing flying instruction for nearly 30 years and has trained around 200 pilots.
He has 13,000 flying hours and is CAA qualified to instruct on Enstrom 280 and 480 turbine, all models of Schweizer/Hughes 269 (300 series), plus all Hughes and McDonnell Douglas (MD500 models including the 520N) the fabulous Bell Jetranger series and the Robinson R22.
He is a CAA type rating examiner approved to conduct your PPL (H) skills test and annual LPC
And just to show he can still put on a show when required, he is a former world freestyle aerobatic champion, so you know you will be getting some superb training.
Dennis Kenyon has been flying helicopters since 1972 and will be happy to talk/chat/E mail to anyone interested in the Enstrom or the other corporate helicopters. Just make contact.

Perhaps the video was for marketing purposes.

Been lurk'n through the threads and am glad I found this.
Brilliant :)
Now that's what I call fly'n. :D
Anyone who hasn't seen this ,should,[it was well worth the 30 minuit wait for the computer to get it. ]
Smooth, precision,on the limit controlled aggresion.[I'v got an old,1975 vidio of Wayn Dixon mustering brumbys here in a Hughes 300.The same style of flying but he didn't have a cleared paddok to do it in. ;) ]
I wunder how many FW blokes crashed while waching him playing. :p
If I could warrant hav'n a chopper it would be one like that, well balanced, powered and can obviosly handle a bit of punishment.
Thanx Craig. :)
BTW,what type of chopper is it.???Hughes 300??
