Earlier this year while I was still working on my dominator, I saw something in the EAA magazine about getting a data plate for my gyro as a centennial homebuilt once completed. There were only a couple requirements. Finish your aircraft between December 17, 2002 and December 31, 2003 and be member of the EAA. So when I finished I filled out the simple form and sent if off with a picture. About two weeks later I got the packet back from the EAA. Kinda Cool I thought.

If you've finished your gyro this year, there is still time before December 31st.

I saw that earlier, and I'm bummed that I missed it. I have to see if I can keep my medical long enough to be flying when the centennial of rotorblade flight comes around.

Naw, never mind...the PRA data plate will be a paper cutout in PR...

That is cool. I am almost done with my 2-place just minor details to finish. I just have to put the numbers on, replace some engine sensors and hope the hang test goes well. I would like to have it be an centennial homebuilt but I doubt I will have the parts in time.
