I have a friend who is building a Bee and needs a prop.

It's an Ultra Prop. I sold hundreds of the 4-blades with the little 447 Commander gyroplanes. Never had any problems with them. There are more efficient props on the market now days, but this one gave good thrust at lower speeds and still kept us at the legal level flight speed of 63mph.

Thank's Dennis, he has 503 with a belt reduction(looks like 2x1) to a 4 bolt hub that I have not seen before, I hope to get some pics.
Mark is Air Tech the new name or the old name?

Sorry, Air Tech is the same company, but the name of the prop has changed I think. I had a friend with that prop on a 447 on a PPC. It worked fine for him. It is or was rather flexible. That was probably good for the 447 as it allow the rpm to get the jump on the prop. as the rpm leveled off the prop would overcome the flex and return to the unflexed position. As Dennis said they were called Ultra props back then. Now they are called Competetion

Remember what Dennis posted "There are more efficient props on the market now days".
One of our club members had the Ultra Prop 3 blade on a Honeybee. Performance was marginal. He swapped it out with a 2 blade Ivo Prop. Performance was really improved.
If your looking for performance, I'd skip this prop and go with a better performer. Especially on a Bee.

Unless they changed, the company is called Competition Aircraft, and the prop name is Ultra-Prop.
