Ok guys just a bit of background, I have been in helicopters my whole life, built and flown several gyros and airplanes. I have a extensive library of rare plans and modern plans for airplanes, helicopters and gyros. I have 123 sets in all, and I have studied each and every one intensively. You can go to my website and see what I have built and flown over the past couple of years, every detail is shown in pics and text so I do have quite a bit of experience. I now have bought several sets of plans from Vortech, advertised as complete construction plans.........well it is bogus. The HRH plans I got today are so incomplete it is pathetic. It is 50 pages with mostly 1 part per page with either dimensions or material or just one view of the part and on the pages with more than one part there is alot stuff missing, hardly any kind of instructions, no assembly pictures at all or parts placement.ON top of that on the second page it planly says that these plans can not be use to build the HRH and he sells them as if they are......the HRH plans are ones to stay away from and the other set of plans I got from him that were supposed to be construction drawings for Bensen's Little Zipster... they are just 3 pages technical drawings showing overall component placement, nothing to do what so ever with building it. Vortech is tons of false advertising and when trying to talk with him since I received this stuff, emailed and phoned him.......not available and wont return the calls or email...imagine that, stay away from Vortech and save your money.

Skyguy,

How do my Hornet drawings compare to the other drawing packages that you have? Could you please have a look at then?

Don

Hi Don, sorry for the delay in response. I have your hornet plans and I like them. Your plans should be pretty easy to build from even for the novice, as long as he takes the time to study them completely and ask questions. I remember my first time to read a set of prints, pretty overwhelming but the designer was there to answer every question. I do like the hornet, nice design. I am working on several projects at the moment one is a coaxial I am designing, 3DRV, BD4, RW11 and restoring a C172. The only thing I don't have and am looking for at the moment is a full set of Bensen B8M plans including all the manuals and drawings and the rotorblade construction prints.........anyone out there can help??
