Anyone out there making any progress on their tractor style gyro's. With the weather the pure pits, now is the time to be making messes and shavings !!!

Several things must be improved on tractors;
1) Visibility. This is possible with a ROTAX 503 reversed, gear box at the top, instrument panel very narrow, feet together, stick to the ceiling. So only the visibility is as good as a pusher
2) The loop tail. This is possible with a rigid rear wheel and brake differential.
3) The thrust of the propeller. The main advantage of tractors is to have more space to install a large propeller. It is never fully used.
4) The engine torque. The tail of a tractor can easily withstand high torsional stress. It must use to straighten the twisted wind propeller.
I must just now find a place to house the huge resonator. Only after that I produce shavings.

Hello Jean Claude
Two questions, what construction material will you uses for the fuselage, and how close to the "center" of the fuselage is the rotor ? Is it close to 50% between the propellor and the rudder ?
