Hello to everyone in Texas. I am in Northwest La (Shreveport). To my knowledge there is not a single autogyro in this part of the state. I have researched the sport extensively and will be ready to buy by next summer (hopefully). There are a couple of dozen guys in the state who fly but all are so far south that it is closer to be an East Texas groupy than anywhere else. Was hoping that some of you could let me know when you plan flyins or even just weekend excursions.
Was also wondering if anyone would be interested in a "shared ownership" higher end gyro (xenon, magni)? Just a thought.
Looking forward to hearing from anyone....thanks..

I'd do some research regarding hanger and aircraft costs and then put an ad in the local paper and place a poster advertising a meeting regarding shared costs of aircraft ownership etc at all the local airports....
I built a flying club into a Piper Dealership doing just about the same thing, we started with friends and it progress in order to keep the instructors flying and I used to advertise a Tax seminar on how to have the government pay for your flying habit and you idea regarding "how to fly at 1/2 the cost or less."
These ads always provided 10 to 50 folks depending on the economy and always sold flight instruction and planes every time because it is a good deal with the correct contract.
