Times flies faster than I.
I cant believe that a year has gone by already. What surprises me is that I thought I had an extra week to get my stuff together but ROC is a week earlier that usual this year.
There have been a lot of people over the years that have helped me in my gyro endeavor. I plan on repaying them by finally getting my machine and myself flying, solo'd etc.
If any of you are lurking out there now is a great time to meet some great people and hook up with some great instructors.
Even if you think you might one day be interested in gyros but dont have the money or time right now, take a day off and meet the great people of pra chapter 13 and the PRA.
Learn as much as you can and take a flight with a professional flight instructor. You will have an excellent opportunity to fly a great machine and fly with a great instructor. That instructor is Maxie Wildes. He flies a new Air Command 2bl light weight trainer. This is a serious machine with all the upgrades and has been kept in top notch condition. I weigh 230 lbs and am 6'4" tall and his machine just fits. Lift and power is not a problem.
There will be other instructors there as well and its a great opportunity to make your dreams a reality and do it with some great people.
