Back on the market!!! The newest owner has decided to sell, due to personal issues. Hasn't flown since I demo flew it for him a month or two ago. He would like to get 9500$

Total time since new is still just under 100 hours on the airframe and engine, and about 50 hours on the 23 foot Dragon Wing Rotorblades - replaced the 25's that were on it when it was built cause they were oversized for the weight of the gyro -

Engine is a Rotax 582 DCDI - 65 horsepower.

Warp Drive prop

Hydro Pre rotator

Electric Start on engine, Gel Cell Battery, Oil injection for Pre mix

large style seat tank with padded cover

Instruments include Airspeed, Altimeter, EIS engine monitoring system, electric dash mounted fuel gauge.

electric Back up fuel pump

Entire airframe powder coated bright Red.

Red Neon light with Strobes on the bottom keel tube!

Cigarette lighter - 12 volt outlet.

Gyro is in great shape, and if not sold before then, will be at ROC if anyone wants to come take a look at it.

Ron,
I am new to gyros, but have been doing my research and had narrowed my choices to the Dominator or an Air Command, so I may be very interested in the Dominator above. I am 6' 4" and weigh 245, will I have any problems flying this one?

Rocketman, I don't think so. It has carried heavier guys into the air with no problems before.

Ron,

I'll take it if you can deliver it.

I won't have the time to go on any road trips for a while with everything going on right now. Maybe Tom the owner could deliver it, I will ask him. You can sure pick it up at ROC though! I think you'd like it.

Roketman,

The only problem I see that you might have with a typical Dominator single is that there may not be enough leg room for you. Otherwise, I see no problem. You might check with Ernie re the leg room.

Chuck Irby, this Dominator is built with the seat at a more laid back angle than most and that helps with leg room. My friend Chuck Bevitt flew this one and he is as tall as Rocketman and he has no issues.

Just a quick update on the dominator. Right now I have 4 people that seem seriously interested in it.

Two have made cash offers to buy it - both offers too low - and one has offered to trade a RAF2000 and cash to boot for it - doubtful Tom wants another gyro, he just doesn't have time for ANY gyros right now -

It looks like it will come down to Rocketman and another forum member who recently sold his gyro. Right now Rocketman seems like he will end up with it but who knows??? All I can tell you guys is if you want it don't wait around. It is a nice machine and as far as I know the ONLY not new dominator offered for sale right now. Tom wants 9500$ for it and I know he isn't going to accept a offer of much less than that price. So if you offered 8 grand or 8750$ then you need to up your offers and send a deposit. Meanwhile I will try to get more detailed pics for you guys, but my point is don't wait around forever, this gyro will likely be sold with in the next two or three days. I will be as honest and frank about this gyro and it's condition if you want to call me on the phone to talk about it. 704-756-4600

Hi All,

I am very interested. I may have lost previous threads, but can't figure out how to get hold of the owner of the MFWIC. Any ph #s?

I was too slow on thee ebay trigger for Udi's machine so I'm looking for a well built machine that will fly me, 225", in the AZ desert - high DA.

Thanks!! :D

Thanks Al for the pics. Post more if you got them. And everyone please note that in Al's pictures the gyro is covered in dust from whatever was going on in that workshop, the gyro is not that dusty anymore! ;)

Hey, I think the pics that Al posted are the ones I took of it in Caldwell, ID at John Burgess's shop, the guy who originally built it.

Wow Todd thanks! I didn't know it used to have a twist grip throttle. It has a normal one on it now! Also now has taller teeter towers, new style front fork, new style air shock filler valves, but otherwise looks just like it does in those pics.

I have been lurking around here for a while and was ready to place a order with ernie for a new single seat, but this is just what I am looking for.
I have the cash on hand, just sold the ppc I'll offer $9000 cash, but I need it delivered to Wi. I'll pay all shipping

We already have a offer for the 9500$ asking price, two offers to be exact. But neither has sent in a deposit yet. If your willing to pay the 9500$ call me and I will tell you who and where to send the deposit. Then I suggest coming down here during the Rotors Over Carolina fly in to pick it up and drive it home! Otherwise who would you like to have it shipped with? Neither Tom nor I has the time to deliver it. There is services that will deliver but the cost will likely be around 1000$.

I went out to the airport and got some pix of my toy(s). A couple of shots were from when Ron flew it for me at Goose Creek. Soon to be someone else's baby! Hopefully when my life becomes a little less hectic I'll be able to find a gyro as nice as this one.

I have a friend who is interested in the 170(B) so he's not for sale...at least not at this time.

Sorry if the pixtures aren't very professional. Hope these help.

Tom

Anyone who is concerned about legroom..look at Ron in the first photo...he's a pretty big guy. I'm 5'10" (on a good day) and I usually have a good bit of legroom when I climb on board. And I like to stretch out.

This gyro has been SOLD and is on it's way to it's new home near Nashville Tenn.

If you were interested in it and didn't get you may want to look at the Ultrawhite Dominator Ernie Boyette is selling. And next time a nice gyro comes up for sale, don't Monkey around about buying it.... Good gyros get gone!
