Yea, I remember that. The guy that built it was a nice guy. A young black-gentlemen and artist, wanted to do something different, and he did.

The one thing people like me, Brock and Bensen didn't appreciate about the deal was in some of his literature he thanked us for answering his questions, but making it sound like we were also behind designing it with him, and made it sound like we endorsed it, when we didn't, and we let him and the public know so.

Anyway, I like seeing people think out of the box like he did. Like most everyone else that makes the same mistake, he figured after he had the first one flying, 90% of the expenses and work were finished and the other 10% was just to produce them. He learned the hard way, like most others, it's the other way around, and disappeared with the wind.

I remember that gyro was featured in a 2004 or 2005 PRA Mag. I think it was David Gibbens or Giddens . He had two or three designs like that featured . The article you have is the most I have read on it.

David Gittens was the designer, nice man.
I think it was the only one of David's 3 designs that was flown. I'm fairly certain it was Richard Bentley that flew the Ikenga. I seem to remember it being flown in a saddle straddling, kneeling position and not more than once or twice.

I remember seeing it fly, what I remember the most is he was standing or almost standing when he was flying it.
