Hi. This is my first post so excuse me if I don't get it right.

I am an AFI at the Angeles City Flying Club in the Philippines and have an opprtunity to buy a Gyro with very low hours (72) in beautiful condition at an affordable price. Everything I have read about gyros says get instruction first (seems a good iodea to me!) since this is the one and only machine in the Philippines and the guy who owns it cannot instruct (for weight reasons), I really want to try to get in some time in the US this coming week. Possibilites are Maimi area or Los Angeles (LA is preferable).

In the first instance, some effective dual time in a side-by-side gyro would at least give me the opportunity of detemining if buying the gyro is a good idea or not.

Anyone got any recommendations as to who I might fly with?

Terryh ;)

Terry,

Welcome to the forum!

The PRA web page has most of the trainers listed here:

http://www.pra.org/instructors.php

The only trainer near one of the cities you mentioned that I have trained under is Terry Eiland and I can say his instruction is excellent.

I hope this helps and I hope you get that gyro, you will love it!
