CRAP!!! Aircraft Spruce doesn't have the AN960-316 washers!!! Can I use -10s instead?

I have my cart filled almost completely up with the hardware I need for phase 1 but they don't have the -316 washers. They have -10s which are .063 for the 3/16ths bolts. Are they ok? Also, I have the choice between steel and aluminum, and I assume that we use the aluminum...

Use the steel washers. #10 and 3/16" are the same size for all practical purposes, or you could try to get AN360C-316 they are corrosion resistant steel, or stainless, instead of cadmium plated.

Dang, they already shipped too. Hmm, if its the corrosion issue, I suppose I could paint the washers....

The steel will spread the load the entire dia of the washer. The aluminum will not spread the load out. Don't sweat it at this point, you will still take it aprt a few more times.
