John Landry's superb Gyrobee is pictures on page 41 of the September issue of EAA Sport Pilot magazine. It appears in an article by Earl Downs that describes "What Sport Pilot's Can Fly. Nice shots of a variety of aircraft with John's machine representing gyros!

Finding that picture the other night while flipping through the magazine was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I think that was taken at the NW EAA Flying at Arlington, WA back in 2002.
Fly safe,

For those of you that don't get the Sport Pilot magazine, I have posted the picture on the Gyrobee home page along with a link to John's Completions page:

Speaking of celebrity, remember that I am keeping a running tally of Gyrobee cross-country flight achievements:

I know some of you have done a lot of flying this past season and I would like to post data on your memorable single and multiple-leg flights. You don't have to break a previous "record" to get listed. Remember, the whole idea is to celebrate cross-country adventures in our little flying machines, so send me some detailes on your more memorable flights.
