Installed rotor and tried prerotator today for the first time. Enjoyed low and pleasant sound. Even cows stayed calm :)

Congratulations, Alex! What kind of rotor rpm are you getting? Really. And what prop is that?

Alex, great looking gyro. It seems like you really got that baby together quick! Nice Work.

Alex, I love your passion and admire your sucess. It is a wake up to all of the people who snival about being in a dificult place to build an autogyro. It says a lot about the kit that you were able to build it so quickly with such a limited and distant support structure. Thank you, Vance

Guys,
First I'd like to thank you for all these kind replies. It was an interesting thing to assemble SH and I can tell you (comparing to other kits I've assembled earlier) that it was EASY to assemble it though I'm sure AAI will make it even better in nearest future.
This time I still cannot say it is success - the bird should fly first.
Ken, I reached 185-190 rpm at prerotator (2-3 knots wind). Hope to see slightly more after some minor adjustments.
We measured static thrust which appeared to be 285-290 kg (200 m MSL, +15 deg C, 70% humidity) @5100 engine rpm. This was achieved not with 72" WarpDrive but with 70" Lugansk prop (3-blade composite ground adjustable, with tip winglets). WarpDrive showed 275-280 kg. I've installed this Lugansk prop, got 10 kg more thrust and saved 18 lbs weight.
Today I'm completing some final touches at the aircraft and hope to begin test flights on Thursday.
I have a nice conversation with Jim Mayfield getting very useful recommendation on testing. If everything goes well I hope to show you the bird airborn later this week.
Cheers,
Hognose
