Composite Tail Spreadsheet

Hi Folks,

I created an Excel spreadsheet to do some quick “what if” calculations for composite tail construction. It also can print a high quality airfoil plot for use in making a template. Last time I posted an Excel spreadsheet it seemed there were few Excel users on the forum. So the total audience of Excel using composite tail builders is probably nil :) , but if anyone is interested you can download the spreadsheet at: NACA00XX_plot.xls (http://www.users.fast.net/~efw/NACA00XX_plot.xls)

Attached are some jpg files showing the “main” and “information” sheets for any curious non-Excel folks. Yellow fields are input data. Blue fields are calculated by the spreadsheet.
