View Full Version : How do you cut the notch in the tailboom?
I'm scratching my head trying to figure out how I'm going to cut that notch in the tailboom, the best I can figure right now is cut a V out inside the area to be notched, then file away the excess. I realize it would take a while but thats how a "cheap yankee swamp rat" like me (and others) would think to do it. any suggestions?

KDOG,
I just used a hole saw in the drill press. You really want this "slot" to be clean and burr free.

Never mind! Dana just emailed me and told me that we can just clamp the cyclic control around the 2 tubes at the rear of the control - eliminating the need for the notch- and I can still use the holes at the front of the keel for the front part of the control...sweet....
