Now I know it don't take very much knowledge to hookup some gauges or I thought it didn't. I looked up the hookup at Falcon instruments

http://www.falcongauge.com/PDFs/diagrams/pitot_hookup.pdf

I do have a question:
1. After the hose hooks to the pitot tube it goes to the (P) on the back of ASI gauge!
What size hole in the pipe should you use? Is 1/4" to big?

2. On the (S) Static port side of the ASI it leave there and goes to 2 places?
Another pitot tube with no hole in the front but on the side and to the ALT.

Does the static port tube have the small holes? :noidea:

It doesn't matter what size the tube is really because there's no flow just pressure. 1/4 should be fine.

the static pressure on the asi is the same as the static and only pressure used with the VSI and ALT. That's why the static pressure shows that it's hooked up to all the instruments.

Static should be taken from somewhere that there is no pressure or vacume caused by airflow. It should be atmospheric pressure at the current altitude...
