Send an e-mail to GyroRon or gyromike, who are administrators and can remove the posts from spammers. Posting it publicly here for all members may not bring it to their attention as quickly.

That's what I've done in the past but last night then again this morning, it was like having to swat a bunch of flys. Pesky little creatures.

Sometimes they slip through. I don't have any real way to find out if they are legit.

Pity you can't set the system to nuke any new registrant who hasn't filled out a profile in 24h. Of course, once that became a common reaction the creeps would just alter their software to suit. Some of the spams have been advertising forum-spamming software. Cheeky little turds.

The other way to notify Admin of spammers (assuming it works the same on this forum as it does on others) is to click the red triangle in the top right corner of the offending post.
This usually brings up an I-wnat-to-report-something screen where yuo can tell Admin just what you think of the culprit.

The reason I hate spammers is that they contribute absolutely nothing to society , they contribute absolutely nothing to any forum they drop in on , They maybe make a penny for every sale they make traced back to their spam messages. That is their business plan.

A million pennies earned in such a manner does not constitute success to me. They are an idiot spammer with a million idiot customers.

To get a million pennies you need 10 million viewers. 9 million of those viewers are clever enough to see through the crap and shut it off.

The million idiots who are dumb enough to buy everything that pops up in front of them on the internet become contributors to the idiot spammer. The idiot spammer has a million idiot customers. Who in their right mind would want such a thing ?

So in summary , we have 9 million decent regular folks who do not buy into spam , and 1 million idiots who earn the spammer a penny per hit.

Be very glad you are one of the 9 million decent business folks. Much better than trying to fool 10 million people to earn $10k.

The $10k earnings in the hands of the spammer maybe lasts him a few days at the most. What a waste. Idiots are not good financial managers. I have sympathy for them all. What a lost cause. Spammers have a short life span. Their business plan is faulty.

The only thing they are good at is irritating 9 million people at a time. This is how they will be remembered.
