June 18th, my two and half year old son went for his first flight with me in my RAF 2000 gyrocopter.
I can't tell you all how exciting it was for me to hear him ask me with 5 minutes of landing, he asked me to go again. We did go again on Sunday the 21st.
Th video below was the filming of my Aaron and I taking off and landing, by my hanger neighbor Ed.
We had a 15 mph. cross wind that day. It not that bad however. I hope you enjoy this.

That's great, it's nice to be able to share aviation with your kids. Anna has flown with me a couple of times in my Bonanza.

I guess I just must not be confident enough of a gyro pilot yet to take a child up.

Any adult can decided whether the risk of flying with me in my gyro is worth the reward but I'm not comfortable enough yet to make that decision for my grandkids.

I do miss that thrill, however.
