Paul,
I'm not sure, this is the first I've heard about it. Let me do a little looking. Let me try an attachment here.

Paul,
Are you trying to attach something other than pictures? There are only certain file types allowed such as .jpg, .gif, .bmp and a few others. Also, there is always the 150k limitation. Give it another try.
Joe - either Mike or myself can usually sort out a problem, Mike has definately been better about jumping on top of issues lately since I've been pretty busy this summer.

Paul,
Glad you found the problem.
I had looked into it last night, but wasn't able to find any problem. I was going to try again this morning, but saw that you got it licked.
I thought that maybe there was something wrong with your User Profile or permissions, but I am unable to access that part of the software. I can only moderate the threads and posts, and can't do much with individual user settings.
Anyway, good on ya for finding the trouble.

I use a pop-up killer program from PanicWare (http://www.panicware.com). I hear there are better programs out there that can distinguish between legitimate "sized windows" and "pop-up" ads. This is not one of those. Took me a bit to determine why I couldn't attach files either.
It's too bad that the walls we build to shield against the advertisers form the walls of our own prisons. There is no media immune to ads when pro-boxers paint dot-coms on their backs, or call-bots call our homes at all hours just to verify it's a legit number (if someone picks up) so a "real" telemarketer can call us later. Slashdot (http://www.slashdot.org) just reported about new, invasive billboard tech, ala Spielberg's "Minority Report". 3 major airlines have been busted for selling our personal information. Ultimately it ain't "evil empires" or some conspiracy crap... it's ad agencies and those who feed them. Brilliant idea if you can target an individual.
It only makes sense that any communication technology, be it 2-way or passive, will ultimately be permeated by ads and spam. Cell Phones were a good idea. Now we receive "special" text messages on them for Viagra... over and over again.
I don't even check my email anymore. I simply don't care. There's a point in which it takes more energy to delete 99 spams than I gain by reading 1 from a friend or client. The spammers and ad whores have spoiled it for us all.
