Hey,
I want to see a video of it going through that car wash at the Shell station!

It would be too tempting to drive to Walmart, unfold the rotors and takeoff from the parking lot.

Here's a video I found that highlights Larry Neal: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPZhrZqfKvU

I plan to do something even better than that. I plan to keep mine parked in my garage and when I want to go flying I plan to pull out of my garage, drive about 2 blocks from my home to a big (about 10 acres) grass field and take off from there. I have the owners permission and as long as I don't upset any of the neighbors and they complain about it I think I will be bale to get away from flying in and out of there. If I had to I could drive it to the airport but that would be a 20 minute drive and if I can go 2 minutes away and fly out of there, that's almost as good as having my own private strip. I guess time will tell, but that's my plans.

Doug,
The other day I was working at a housing develpement that was started years ago. It's located about 20 miles away from the city. It's kind of in the middle of nowhere. The developers put in all the streets and underground utilities but the place just never grew like they'd planned. There are tons of deserted dead-end cul-de-sacs which would make great private runways. I haven't flown up there yet but I plan on flying up there sometime to check it out from the air.

Tim,

Take some pictures, it sounds like it could be a very cool place to play. May want to try to get the owners permission if there is anyone still around there.
