Stan,
I have the set of wheel pants for my gyro, main & nose wheel.
I never painted or mounted them.

Stan,
You can get a "Parham" stab from Air Command since their stab is a copy of mine and is lighter if you get the carbon fiber model. Cost is $750 plus crating and shipping. That also includes a 20 inch 2x4 keel extension kit. I talked to Doug Smith about it a few weeks ago since I am out of the business and he offered to sell kits for the RAF.

Stan I see no reason you shouldn't have 10 gyros. I thought you said something before about money being the factor for not going to a Sparrowhawk. You buying another RAF - I am sure you found a good deal though - was not something I expected.

Why don't you save the money for the Parham stab, and try to make the new RAF into a Sort of Sparowhawk. I know their augmentation kit is not cheap but a person with some skills and the right tools could easily copy what they did and do their own mods for alot less $$$ Just step the keel, lower the engine on the mast and get a tall tail and go flying!?!

Stan,

Larry Martin has wheel pants for the RAF main gear. He does very good work on Glass stuff. He also makes Stabs
I dont have his web site handy but I am sure you can find it .

Russ, you can't find it. It is a dead link. I tried to let him know on the forum here, but it's still dead, and has been for months.

Stan take your money and buy a hotdog stand for all I care. I have spoke to you many times in private and on the forum about why you didn't want a sparrowhawk over a RAF and you said it was a money factor. What you do with your money is absolutely none of my business and trust me I don't want it to be any of my business.

Also to be blunt, I asked you to call me or give me your number to shoot the $hit a week or two ago and you didn't do either. I see where I stand. You won't have to worry about me bothering you about what you fly ever again. Take the stab off and fly, it is not going to bother me.;)

I am happy that YOU are happy. That is all that matters.:D

Ron: It is a money factor....I am very satisfied with my RAF..and plan on flying it for several years...then yes...I do want to eventually end up with a SparrowHawk..which I feel is the ultimate machine. But I dont want to outlay the money until I get a lot of hours out of my current investment. I just am simply enjoying my much smaller investment and am going to fly the heck out of it.

On the pnone calls...we can argue for free here..... :D

I can not - just as I am sure you can not either - totally get our points across like we would want to over a stupid keyboard. That is why I wanted to just give you a phone call. But don't worry about it.

Ron: Call me at my stairshop if you want to talk. I will be there from 6 a.m. till 4 p.m CST tomorrow. I would like to hear you say....."Stan..I have a real hot deal on a Parham or a Larry Martin stab." :D

Please dont take it personal because I never called....I have been extremely busy recovering from my stairshop damage... :)
