Anti Spam Feature

One forum to which I belonged required that the email address you be given be an ISP provided email, not hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc. Then they sent to that email address the activation code.

This proceedure made spam attacks very unlikely.

Just thought i would pass it along for what its worth.
