yes i think its the more efficient and stable one, years ago i was about trying to find an empty fuselage to adapt a rotor, a kind of "pittbull"...
in my design i tried to keep the advantage of the propulsive gyro : front visibility, make the propeller thrust line adjustable/adjusted to the engine/pilot center of mass and also tried to give a "sexy" look to the bird... hope it is ;)
best regards

Has Gyro George ever flown his tractor-style gyro? Did it work?

Gyro George Pate hasn't flown his tractor gyro yet (yet = 9/26/04). After building the single-place, he decided to build a two-place.
I saw it a few months ago, still under construction. George, who is an A&P, is a sheet metal genius. His new two-place is just a fantastic piece of work. (Yes, I am jealous.)
However--George is working as an airport manager and manager of a soaring facility. He says he hasn't got any time to complete the gyro, so he's doing just a little bit at a time. And I mean a little bit.
No deadline for completion. No schedule for testing. You guys will just have to wait with bated breath until he's ready to fly iy.
