18% increase in fuel economy in a 2-stroke? Wait! Later they claim 30%! Hocus-pocus-dominocus. If I could convince someone that drinking Starbuck's coffee and pissing it into their tank would improve their engine life, fuel economy and top speed and they believed it, they would report remarkable results in those parameters. How come all the "tests" always read like commercials and conveniently finish up with a paragraph about where to buy it and are by "consultants" or mag editors whose mag happens to run ads for it?
I even saw some testing from a "professor" at some "university" on this stuff that would make P.T. Barnum proud. If the stuff really did what was claimed, the makers would have been bought out by the big guys years ago and would be sunning their snowmobile-frozen asses in the Bahamas instead of selling it through Cliff's Bait and Tackle Shop, Howie's Arctic Snowmobile Repair Co. or Junior's Gunshop and Taxidermy. WalMart, Pep Boys, NAPA, Sears and most other large retailers sell additives....why don't they sell this stuff if it is so miraculous? This stuff should be flying off the shelves, yet in most of the snowmobile and watercraft states, you're lucky to find 5 dealers, all in Podunk. I'm sure the big boys would like to increase sales with claims of 30% better fuel economy. I hope I don't get the baloney again that they prefer to stay small because...blah....blah....blah. There...that should stir it up.

All this discussion about "magic oil". Why don't you just use the magnets strapped to the fuel lines? A guy at a bar told me it would double my mileage!! So I tried it....the engine ran till it was completely empty!!! I was shocked how long the fuel tank lasted. Next , to improve the system, I am going to put a 50 pound magnet right inside the fuel tank. I am just waiting to see how long I can fly then!!! Probably can fly all the way to the Brooklyn Bridge. Kenny J, I can meet you there to sell it to you........for a great deal.

I bought a couple gallons of it and have just finished it up. I haven't noticed anything spectacular with my 532. It seems to be running good, but it was running fine before. I'm going to switch to the much cheaper havoline two stroke I've seen recommended if I can find some locally, our walmarts don't seem to have it. Ken J beat me into submission. :)

Oil topic. If your Balls feel good with Walmart brand that is waht you use. The purpose of the oil is not lubrication. That is a third of the purpose. Is to cool down , clean inside of engine and prevent it after usage. SO we use too little to lubricate.
Now each has thjeire advantages. I only use a mineral synthetic blend on all my engine, car, boat, gyro, tractor. The results when overhauled less depostit on piston and lower working temps. I bought my oil from http://www.airstuff.com/
I use spectro. I leran to use this oil from the old Bill Parson. SO I could say I am also bias. Just make sure you are using oil for an air cool engine in an air coll engine.
I know of a 532 blown in pices using nautilius oil. That is designed for water cool boatr engines.

Todd,
If you are looking for the Havoline TCW-3 oil, Auto Zone in our area carries it. You have to look closely on the shelves, they seem to go through it pretty rapidly. I could only buy 5 quarts the last time.
By the way, the Havoline is even cheaper than the Pennzoil Air-cooled engine oil, so I'm real happy with that.

Thats the stuff I'm looking for, Thanks Mark
Todd,
I may have given you the wrong store name. I just drove by our Advance Auto Parts store, and that's who I actually buy it from. Hope you have that chain in your area.
