When I try to click on pix the screen turns black. Navigating around forum the computer locks up and I must turn off the computer to escape. I'm also getting a hugh number of cookies when here on the forum....what's up?

Strange. I am not having that program.

Is your anti-spyware and anti-virus up to date?

What OS / Browser are you using?

Hello Joe

What browser are you using?

The forum upgrade has brought about a change in the way my browser (Firefox) brings up a picture on my computer. One click on the picture brings up the screen as in the attachment. A second click on the picture clears the forum post in a dark background and goes to full screen of just the picture.

Prior to the upgrade, pictures loaded instantly. After the upgrade, pictures take a couple seconds to load.

Joe

I started "MSN Explorer" browser, I had the same results as with "Firefox".

When I started "Netscape" browser, pictures loaded instantly as before the upgrade.

It probably has more to do with browser settings.

Joe I use Firefox and all is well. What you describe sounds a lot like some kind of vorus or something. Have a good scan and see if things improve. If you need a free virus program go google Moon anti virus - thats what I use and it grabs everything and chews it up.

Mac, I have the same, I'm sure it's a browser setting. I have good spyware and virus protection, nothing got inside of my box.

OK,

I have Internet Explorer 6 as my browser and it was just updated 10 minutes ago....still having the same problems. My spyware was updated two days ago and I ran the securiy check then.

When someone (like myself) would post pictures, you could click on them individually to enlarge them.

Now when you click on one The black bacground & new album style format will open. I thought that this was nice. Then you can click next to see the rest.

I did not realize , till last nite, when viewing Dennis F. pics that you can click on them again to enlarge. I thought this was fantastic !

I can see how this could be trouble for some computers though. Could be a program upgrade or something needed. Best of luck.

I will keep experimenting on my own to figure out the changes. I started a post about the upgrades but few responded.

Don't fell bad, I just installed Firefox, running on Linux, not sure the problem, but mine is loading slow on all websites now.

still Learning the Linux system, it sure is not plug and play like windows.,but has some cool things to it,like multi desk tops, I can down load files on one desk top, run mail on another and then open a 3rd just to read the forum.
