That's the one!!! I couldn't remember where I'd seen it. It looks as if its made of glass and has side by side seating....neat!

Obviously had some problems as it sounds like it never flew. Unfortunately, this seems to be the fate of way too many Tractor Gyros. Guess we really ought to hear from someone who has built one and tried to get it into the air, to find out what kind of challenges they are having. But there does seem to be a trend here. I would just say walk carefully when heading down this road.

It was/is a North American Rotorwerks creation. Yes, side-by-side and made of glass. It was just a mock-up at that time. John wanted to put a turbine in it.................????????????

Doug,

I agree with finding the reasons why it didn't fly and the problems that it faced. In the gyro business the problem could have been as simple as having no market for it!

I have always been interested in the tractor configuration. IMO, the tractor has many attributes and failings as does all aircraft. Its conventional landing is its major detractor...many pilots have a fear of tail wheels. No aircraft is perfect!

I can see many possibilities in this design. Its grow potenial appears to be good! Let's say I like it! Big, ugly, big engine...yeah!!!!
