Rotorcraft Mailing

The Nov/Dec issue of Rotorcraft went out on or about December 11th, I guess they are having problems with one of the post offices. I still haven't recieved mine and it should take about 3 days. Have any of you got yours yet and when? This information may be helpful to Rick Gilley in founding out where the problem lies.

Rick isn't sure where the problem is and that is why he sent out a notice to the chapters to have their members report when they received their mag. He has been told by the Mentone postal people that it should only take about 3 days for delivery and they suspect that the hold up is in Indianapolis.

But, Mike McKiernan who has many years of mailing this 'stuff' says the problem could be in a number of places so the investigation continues. But the good thing is that Rick is trying to uncover where the problem is and get it solved if possible. I say if possible because we have to remember we are dealing with the U.S. Postal Service!

PRA members who are not in a chapter can email Mentone when they receive their mag and provide the date they received it and where they live. I haven't got mine yet either but chapter members are copying me when they send Rick info. And it looks like the earliest that anyone received it was on 12/15.

I really can't recall when I received my copy but it was either last Sat. or maybe Monday. I guess 1st. Class mail makes a bit o difference?!

Notice the new PRA logo, they started useing it a couple months ago. Good thing Southwest has changed thiers, I still see it embroidered in the planes though.
