Spark Plug Caps

I have a 503DCDI with Magenta Resistor NGK 5000 ohm spark plug cap. My queston what is the difference between the magenta and the black NGK 5000 ohm plug caps, besides the price.

I really like the magenta caps They clip on quite well.

But that is a very good question. I hope someone has a better answer than me.

5000 ohms is 5000 ohms.

No difference. I use the NGK's

Aircraft spruce for the NGK's.

Scott, They are both NGK's but there's about $20.00 difference in the price.

They may well be both NGK's, so I would say NO difference at all other than the color and the rotax special price.
I like the black ones. See that is the problem, rotax mixes Itallian (Ducati) and Japanese (NGK) parts, on an Austrian engine! :)
