Can´t post attached files

At last I learnt how to use my digital camera and send the pictures to my Macinthosh Power book. But when I tried to post them as attached files, there is a warning that states that my file is over 700 something and that the Forum only allows a maximum of 150. It is nothing complicated. Just a picture of a tuned pipe that I promised to post. Any ideas? Thanks!

The file needs to be resized and/or compressed so that is 150kb or smaller. This is done to keep from using enormous amounts of bandwidth and storage here on the forum. There is an excellent simple program called Irfan View. I wrote a little tutorial awhile back on how to resize pictures with irfan view:
