does anyone have any dual EGT and dual CHT gauges, and or a water temp gauge, left over from upgrading your machine? if so I would be interested.

Scott,

Check out http://www.sportflyingshop.com/Instr/Stratomaster/SmartSingles/smartsingles.html and look at the EMS-582.

Scott,

Yes, I have a 2" round dual CHT that I no longer need - degrees C (green arc 140-190, yellow arc 190-220, red arc 220-375) with spark plug ring pickups and wire.

I also have a 2-1/4" clock, 2" round oil temp, 2" round tach (0-6000), 2" round fuel gauge with prob for seat tank.

Will sell each for 35% of retail price + shipping.

Ken: I'll buy your CHT gauge if Scott doesn't want it!

Ken, I think that I will just be using a water temp gauge, and dual EGT's.
So Kevin if you want the gauges, Go for it. Thanks guys.

Ken, how does the fuel gauge and probe work? I have never seen one for a seat tank.

Scott,

The fuel prob goes through a hole in the top of the seat tank (opposite side from the filler cap) and extends down to the bottom of the seat tank. There is two ways to set it, since the seat tank is such an unusual shape:

1. Set the "full" at the top of the seat (not the seat back) and the "empty" at the bottom. This only measures the fuel in the seat after the fuel in the seat back is used - measures the last 5 gallons (not the entire 8 gallons).

2. Measures normally (top to bottom) but you mark the gauge to show the 1/2 full mark closer to empty so the first 4 gallons used moves the needle quickly to this mid point and then slowly from 1/2 full to empty.

I used the #1 method, because I was only interested in my fuel level when it was down to the last 5 gallons. I set the warning light to come on at 2 gallons.
