Bee fans. I recently joined the Rotary Wing Forum and made my 1st post a couple of weeks ago. http://www.rotaryforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1792
A few of you have requested some gyro info from...as they put it " the truly experimental gyro days" Most of my flying is from the 70's thru '84...culminating in my last gyro flight at Oshkosh '84 as the test pilot of Martin Hollman's Bumble Bee. I thought the current generation of Bee flyers would like some background on Grandpa Bee.
#1.Bumble Bee maiden flight. Hollister,Ca. Feb 84.
#2 Thumbs up after 1st Flite.
#3.Talking over 1st flight w/Bumble Bee designer Martin Hollman
If interested I can post pics from the 1st Bumble Bee brochure.
Have never posted pics here...so if they don't show...I'll keep working on it.
