Here are a couple of photos of the Dominator with the Air command nose pod,
It should be a nice winter addition, it will take about an hour to switch over from the pod back to fully open in the spring, Flying with the pod is a little different, I am not used to being "closed in". :)

Scott can you describe any differences in handling or yaw tendencies? Just curious.
Pretty machine.

Looks great. Are you going to paint it to match the rest of the gyro (after you finish Mama Gyro's Mustang, of course)?

Five boy, It seems to have much more rudder authority, perhaps because the air is less disturbed.
I am going to paint the gyro, not sure yet, but it has to be something really wild.
Tim the mustang is coming along nicely......Another Redneck rocket. :)
I told Mary I am going to have to get a vanity plate for her that says:
Mary-O (Mario) Because she drives it like a race car. :)

Scott,
Very cool. How do you like those PVC aux tanks? I considered those at one point for the 2-place.

JC, I like the aux tanks, they are light, and the only time I use them is for X-county, or when I know I will need extra fuel.
Barry, I still have to paint the wheels, although the "donut" spare seems to be a really popular choice in the Atlanta metro area.

Never saw the movie.............................
My old truck is yellow with purple flames........so was the mailbox.
The Harley had a purple frame.
Where are you going with this? :)

I do like that way your gyro looks with that pod. did it effect the hang angle or weight and balance any? I bet it really flys sweet now. how long till we see a video?

I can't remember the name of the guy who came to Bensen Days with the purple Air Command a few years ago but it looked pretty sharp. Not a color you see every day on a gyro.

Scott, did you treat the aluminum with a clear coat or is it painted. I'm trying to decide what to do with my air frame. Its already assembled, but I intend to take it apart after the motor mount. Racer is helping me build the motor mounts for a Yamaha motor next week. I still have to decide what size rotors to go with., looks like I can go with 24 or 25' using the math equation Ernie gave me. I think it will wiegh about 600 AUW.

Russ, the aluminum is bare, I do not like it uncoated, it is impossible to keep clean with the oxidation and all. I just haven't been able to take it apart and paint it yet.
I might go with a Boeing landing gear light gray on the airframe, we'll have to wait and see.
Tim, purple would be cool, with big bass-boat metalflake!

I like the way that looks. Pretty cool. Paint the gyro army green or camo.... you can just spray it as it sits, wires hoses etc.... It will add character

Camo would be cooler and more redneck too.....

Flat OD green would be cool.
Maybe hang a few small sheetmetal 'pods' here and there with flat black stenciling...paintball guns...
