Jake my man,
I did consider flat black, but somehow when the painting started it came out Burgundy and white.....go figure.
Ronster,
how do I make a choice between which one to fly? There both so much fun. I literally cant wait to get to the airport the next day to firewall the throttle on this thing. Hope this wears off soon. Gas is wicked expensive and I'm burning a ton of it. I might have the gyro at Wrens. We'll see.

Tim,
That is one beautiful aircraft and I am sure if you have to travel very far, it will be a much more convenient means of transportation. (not to mention how proud you must be to own a beautiful machine like that) However, in this case I have to agree with Ron. If you are going to a Gyro Fly In, you need to have a Gyro with you. Especially when you own one of the absolute sweetest Gyros ever made. You should take your Butterfly and fly it just as much as you can and give everyone there a chance to see what it can do. To date, Butterfly's are a pretty small percentage of the Gyro world, but that is changing and since you have one of the premier models, you need to think about others and show and tell with everyone you can.
Besides, as fun as it may be to firewall the throttle on that Lancair and watch the airspeed climb, once you are at altitude (even if you are going pretty fast) you have to admit it isn't very exciting to fly. I admit, comfortable, convenient and dang cool, but when it comes to exciting and fun to fly I think your Gyro wins every time. At least that's how I feel about it.
Congrats of getting a beautiful airplane!!!

Well delivered. All taken under advisement. Thanks for your encouragement and very kind comments and your candor. Its is true that if something ever had to go bye-bye it would definately NOT be the Gyro!!!!

First off, Tim ain't sleeping with me!
Second off, Sunday the place will be a ghost town.
Third, Tim has more money than the rest of us combined, if he is to be considered a truely dedicated Gyronaut, he would at the very least have one of his hired hands drive his camper trailer / gyro hauler up to Wrens and have it set up and waiting for Tim to be able to come to Wrens in his airplane and park it, and be able to fly his gyro and focus on the comroddery and fellowship with his GYRO BUDDYS

Well Bearster,
I almost bit on the staying with Ron thing. That could have solved alot of my problem, but as you can see my good friend RON, replies with no inthusiasim?. So.......plan B must go into effect. Problem is there is no plan B.
I cant figure out why it is that Ron thinks that I have money to burn. I dont really speak of my finances publicly.....hmmmmmmm.
My desire is to be with my GYRO Buddys, thats for sure. I'll work on putting a workable plan together and see what comes of it.
I still love ya Ron, even if you wont open up your home to me. Maybe I'll be able to find a warm spot under somebuddys gyro.
