I Got Him On Video And Also Ron, But It Seems To Do A More Noes Down With The Single Seater. At Least That's What It Looks Like From The Ground View.!!

after going back and watching it again, i think it is yellow.... not sure how is flying it.

At the end of the video, where I believe it is Matt performing a soft field takeoff, the video ends, but is captured still frame. The rotor blade is caught in the field of view and appears to be bending in an extraordinary way. Is this video voodoo or a true representation of whats happening?

P.S. I went back and watched again, but the video at ending went direcly to a new header, so the still frame capture was a fluke. Maybe if you pause the high res video at the proper moment you can see what I was describing.

Now that is a very interesting observation!

I would say that the rotor image at the end of the footage is a result of greater blur due to the tips moving faster than the inner portion of the blade. More blur, wider looking blade.

I'm sure you're right. Videos can create strange illusions with rotating objects. Did you notice the rotor "reversal of rotation"? I think it has to do with a relationship between speed and frame rate.

Tim, Thanks for linking the vid...

I cannot capture the frame I originally saw. The retreating blade was just about over the tail, and the outer 2feet of the blade was bent downward at about a 15* angle. It sure seems improbable though.
