I caught a short grainy video of three Helicycles returning from breakfast at a town nearby to Homers fly-in last weekend. These pilots were having way too much fun. 5 of them all spooled up and flew right to the restaurant where the owner had a nice mowed place for them to land. They had the red carpet rolled out for them. This is one of many reasons I am pursuing helicoper flight. The countless missions of being able to land most anywhere where permission is granted would never have me finding the time to fly all these possible missions. I plan on flying a lot of them however.:D

That was great too Stan.
Don't you love the sound of a turbine, spooling up or down.

You should tell the story of the six taking off together?

Every time I watch a Helicycle video the words "quiet" and "smooth" come to mind , even when there are 3 flying together .

I have never been able to predict the future but in this case I KNOW where Stan is going for breakfast a year from now.

I can even predict with accuracy what he will be flying and a good guess the colors will be a combination of Grey and Dark red with some white.

As far as the breakfast , I am not able to yet determine if he will choose ham , bacon, or sausage with his eggs. One thing for sure , whatever he chooses he will instruct the waitress he wants them cooked on a kerosene stove. :)

Arnie: The Helicycles are amazingly quiet...especially on high speed fly bys....just the rotor and tail rotor are making a little noise...and the turbine isnt heard until it passes by...and then its just a whine. They say you dont even need headsets in them they are that quiet.

Your color guesses are close...it will be burgundy., white, and grey or some tint of purple striping.

If I have my turbine in time...and I get a third test area...I will have it at Homers next year. However, getting that third test area will be tough. Next year is a big one...Homers 25th and they are trying to get 25 Helicycles there. I am going to do whatever to get mine over there and flying.
