Thom try and get your hands on or read about a book called Alternative III. Our older British friends may recall it. It postulated that the space race was a diversion and the real agenda was a multi national effort to send retooled humans no one would miss to the dark side of the moon where a survival station was being built for the muckety mucks. There is a great deal of detail and interesting facts.... perhaps the most interesting of which is that the book was never published in the US and literally overnight they disappeared from book shelves in England (and not because people bought them but because the sales were halted!).

John, I knew that hat was covering the little antennae.

When I originally posted this thread it was as a lark. But as I have investigated this end of the world thingy I have found a lot of trash as well as some gems. One of the things that is really standoutish is that no one is talking about us going through this Galactic equator. Well almost no one. Seems the governments are. What with the new underground seed storage facility in Finland and the fact that they can keep one half of their population underground for a couple of years. Our government has facilities for our leaders also. Where does this leave us guys? I guess sometimes ignorance is bliss huh.

St. Thomas Aquinas wrote some pretty interesting about the land where today seats Brazil as a nation.
It is said the UFO will land in a spot equidistant from Pacific and Atlantic oceans and all those looking for the Eldorado (the city of gold and richess) came pretty close to that spot.
I still think the Eldorado was a vision from our future.
Brasilia was built in concrete and has another city underneath, that was the 60´s and asap was named Mankind´s Patrimony (property)
Maybe it is just coincidence but the other aliens used to come here a lot, since 1.500 BC
The Native language is heavily influenced by Fenicians (Phoeniks)

John and Tim How are you guys doing also?

I have been repairing the damage of transporting my gyro to Mentone. Plus putting in about 15 hours a day on the store. Just not enough time. I have gone out to the airport twice the last week but the conditions weren't right so still haven't been able to check my gyro out yet.

There was more than I had originally thought but it is repaired or replaced now. Boy I know one thing and that is how not to trailer a gyro in the future. Shrink wrap is the way to go from now one. And stay away from bungee cords. When they come loose they can wreak havoc on the electrical system.

I hope to be seeing some of you soon. We will be having a flyin in October.

He has the right to believe whatever he wants. No matter how crazy it may be, others are expected to at least respect his right to believe it and potentially be wrong if they agree or not. Maher can disagree, but it is stepping over the line to tell someone they are wrong or mock. At least, to my understanding, that is how "freedom of religion" is supposed to work in this country.

If you are disputing my beliefs than you have a problem, Sir! :D
Methods of spreading what you believe I think are the problem and laws should control them.
You can´t mock my faith, it is too strong! (or not)

This has to have been one of my most interesting threads.

Here is something to think about.

It pertains to Nostradamus

His first Strong evil Leader was Napoleo roy. Napoleon
His second which is a little better was Hister Hitler
His third was Mabus. Now lets arrange the letters a little better like reverse them.

M A B U S becomes S U B A M or maybe S U D A M or S A D A M.

Now I thought this very interesting since he is now DEAD.

What do you guys think?

To predict the comings and goings of people would suggest that every timeline and movement of every person is set and invariable ie. fate.

I am with Forrest Gump and his very smart mama and believe we are all "floatin, around all incidental like".

I do not believe in fate although I guess it is beyond questioning anyone who does.

I am open minded though to some of the Mayan (or the like) predictions based on Galactical alignments and cycles.

I am not sure but I dont think the Mayans actually predict 2012 as the end of the world as much as an end of "year" (galactical new year??) or something. The timing coincides with the aligning of various moons and planets and ???? gravitational forces that can bring on crazy tides, earthquakes and in extreme cases polar reversal.

I have used some poetic liscence there as my memory of what I have read is hazy

Jerry Garcia gave an interview in Rolling Stone magazine before he died in which he hints at some major occurrence in 2012. He won't say what it is, other than to hint at a shift or leap in human consciousness--if I remember correctly.
When I hear 'end of the world' predictions, I like to interpret them to mean 'end of the world as we know it .'
I've heard/read theories that propose the next 'leap in human consciousness' could be telepathy or empathy to some provable degree or another. I like this one, and stranger things have happened. We've all seen fish school and birds flock in perfect instantaneous formation--beyond scientific explanation, for now.

I don't think anyone believes that we'll be able to hear each other's thoughts in complete sentences (especially since we think up to ten times faster than we talk), just that we can pick up a word, or image or feeling. We can already communicate wireless-ly, and the brain is incredibly complex...I say why not?
For fun stuff to think about: Experts in this area seem to think that some of us are stronger 'senders' than 'receivers.'
Before you accuse me of being crazy, remember that 'crazy' is what they called the men who's hard work eventually made manned flight possible.
I'm much closer in mind to a scientist than a mystic. As such, I can't dismiss or support any hypothesis without study and proof. Carl Sagan was a scientist and he believed that, considering the size of the universe, it would be very arrogant of us to dismiss the idea of intelligent alien life.
--Maybe that's what Jerry was hinting at. If not telepathy, then aliens.
Hopefully they know how to make light weight aircraft engines.

I guess this means that the election of Obama isn't the end of the world, we'll have to wait until the 2012 election to find out who is.

Steve, I'll have sausage and mushroom, will you be delivering?

Mark Sanders, I commend you for attempting to share the truth with folks here who are non-believers. I am with you and I think you have put the Word here for us all to share. I for one know that although I have sinned, if I only believe in Jesus Christ and confess my sins and ask His forgiveness, I will one day share everlasting life with you.

What do you consider a non-believer is? Have you realized how many differant religions there are? Do you know why? Not everyone believes all of the same things but that does not make them non-believers. Which religion is the right one anyway?

Hey, J-Sin must have just a slight belief of God because he did mention "his" pastor. I believe you must be going to church if you have a pastor. Let's just hope his pastor is accomplished enough to save his soul.

Looks like your on the right track, downing other peoples beliefs. And what do you mean "Let's just hope his pastor is accomplished enough to save his soul" are you waiting for someone to come save your soul? You need to be worried about saving your own soul.

Like our friend David Holmes (God bless his soul) used to say
You have to be always ready to meet your Maker!
I think we are all ok as far as going to heaven, or not going to hell . . .

His cancer finally got the best of him. His neice goes to my church. I didn't know she was his niece until she talked about going to her uncle's funeral and knowing I flew gyros she commented that her uncle flew them also.

Bruce

Hey Bruce

I was just thinking he has been sooo close on the other two that maybe he reversed this last name and was still one or two letters off. He has always been so very close but cryptic in his ID of these strong men. So I Changed the b to a d in Sudam or Sadam.

You have a good point also. I have a feeling we are all in a lot of trouble for the next 4 years. It didn't matter who won the election. Our economy has been in trouble for the last 24 months.

:hippie:

Steve I'll take a Supreme since we can get our orders in early.

Animal I miss Dave also.

He had quite the flying adventures.

Nice Hijack by the way.

The whole plot still going on since its inceptions, maybe thousands of years ago.
The Hiper Volcano thing is the main event that could provoke that kind of change, the whole planet will convulse and life in North America will be hard to bear.
The economic moment is not the privilege of one president and will not be fixed by one only. The powers that control the money will decide when and if the balance will change.
Get your gear in order and do some survival training, just in case . . .it is fun too!!!
