4th of july video no fireworks

I did have a blast, He is about 20 miles away, the external tanks worked great,
He has a north-south and an east-west runway they are about 1400 ft kind of short, but plenty for a gyro or ultralight.
They fly gobs of RC aircraft there, the whole ceiling in the hangar is RC aircraft,
he has one that has a bomb bay, and was dropping parachutes and candy for the kids,
After I got there the 3 other guys arrived in the challengers and the eindecker.
And yes every one was impressed with the gyro, even the fixed wing guys said it would be fun to fly. :)

What kind of External tanks have you installed? sounds like you plan to do more cross country flying.

I installed a set of Air command tanks, 2 each @ 2.5 gal each, plus the seat tank, gives me about 11 gallons usable fuel, right about 2 hours.

Oh nice. when I get more along with my gyro I want to install long range tanks. have not decided what type yet but will most likely be metal tanks of some type.
