I wanna say thanks to you guys for putting this forum together for the whole world to share and enjoy.

It seems as though there are a few people who like to air their personal proplems and create a massive debate over crap that has nothing to do with the reality of rotorcrafts, club events or new inovations.

Would a section for the WHA WHA babbies to go to and have it out be out of the question? No crap in any other section but that one.
I'm a firm believer in the freedom of speach and expression, esspecially since I've lost body parts to protect this right.

I think this is entertaning at times and also allows people to get to know how these folks think and respond to social stress.

Banning some one because they are an idiot has no strenght it's just another form of the rejection of a right.

So put up a section for cry babbies and let it rip !!!

If some one Hyjacks a thead with their wha wha crap it gets moved to the CRY BABBY SECTION.

What do ya think?

Thanks , JAKE

Jake.

I might be wrong, but I think the "off topic" section is supposed to serve that function (among others).

Thank you for helping us protect our right to freedom of expression BTW.

Nope----- ORGANIZED ANTI CENSORSHIP.
Heron you know I feel everyone has the right to speak. You don't tell bad jokes in church? Well thats a bad example I've done that!! It's just crummy to go to a thead and about five post later it's someone wha wha'in some one-else. Nothing to do with the post. And yes I do think it's funny but do it some place we can expect it.

Jake,

I've always tried to run this forum with as few rules as possible. There are two main ones as far as I'm concerned. Use your real name, either as your forum name or available in your profile AND treat others with respect. The list of people that have been banned from this forum is very short.

I don't read every post on the forum. Trying to keep up with the wandering off topic comments and moving them would take more time than I have available.

I agree that these comments can drag a topic off track but I think you'll find they generally come from the same people. Try placing these people on your ignore list. You'll be amazed!!

Is there any way to put a thread on the "Ignore" list.

When I check here I always click "New Posts". There are a few threads I would rather not see. :noidea:

Jake, freedom of speech means just what it says. None of us are guaranteed the "right" to have someone else provide us with an audience.

If your neighbors get ticked off at you, they have the right to picket on the street out front all they want, but you're not required to let them do it on your lawn.

As I understand it, freedom of speech does NOT absolve the speaker of responsibility for what he speaks.

I am an absolute believer in Freedom of Speech --Either in a public forum or in your own privacy.BUT --this is NOT a public forum it is owned operated and paid (donations dont equate to partial ownership) for by by one person. So he can impose whatever rules he sees fit-------------

I know you Jake and sometimes it is really boring but you have to hold on to your rod and change bait a few times untill you get a strike.
No complaints about this Forum and anyone in it. It is all good to me!
But some fellows really need a bitch slapping sometimes . . . :D
