Need info on using Microsoft Sidewinder joystick with Flight Simulator 2004...currently have version 2.0 Sidewinder software....

good luck...are you using Windows XP?...if so...you are screwed. I just went thru the same thing when I upgraded my computer. I ended up buying a new stick. Microsoft did not bother supporting their own, old hardware with Windows XP.

Hi,
Try a USB/gameport converter and see if you can get the computer to recognize the joystick. control panel/joystick-controllers (test). If is recognized should work. Hope this helps.
