If anyone has one they no longer need, in good shape, that will fit a Rotax "C" box flange, I'm interested.

Chuck,
There is a french guy at the local trike airport that has a hub that was involved in a blade strike. Next time I am out there I'll ask how much he wants for it. I don't think it will be very much since it just hangs on his hanger wall.

Hello again Mike,
The one I have and am using now was also involved in a blade strike, and is not quite true any more, thus the reason I want another. Unless it was checked and found to be true with no run out, I would be afraid of it.
I would appreciate anything you can do on it.
Mike, what can be done to balance my rotor head. If you don't know, please ask your dad for me.
Thanks a lot Mike, and give Connie a hug for me.

Chuck,
What do you mean balancing the rotorhead? The only thing I would do is take it off send it to Dad and let him check all the tollerences. If needed put new bearings and new hardware in it.

Chuck:
I don't know what a Rotax"C"Box is but I have the Warp 3 blade hub that 'cum with my RAF kit. I changed to a solid hub and put the other in a box. You're welcome to it, if it's what you can use?

MIke, I have a stick shake that I have tried to get rid of with two different sets of blades. I can't remember what your dad said, exactly, but he indicated that it could be in the head, possibly out of round or out of balance. He reworked the head after my spill a couple of months ago. So, if you don't mind, I would appreciate you talking to him about it for me. I called him, but got the machine. I left a message about this on the machine, but have not heard from him about it. That was probably a week ago.
Harry, that is a very generous offer. If it has holes for mounting to a six bolt flange, please measure the bolt pattern for me. Mine appears to be 3 15/16" accross. Harry, if it is the right bolt pattern, could you post or email me a pic, please. Thanks a lot, my friend.
In this pic you can see the hub I am looking for:

I don't know if you can use this hub I have. I flew this morning and checked the old hub that is kept in a box, at the hangar. It consists of two flat plates, 3/16 in. thick, and six plastic blocks that clamp around the knob end of each blade. Also a bunch of bolts, nuts and washers to hold it together.
This is a standard Warp hub that is supplied with the blade kit, for the RAF. Any RAF's around that you could check out?

Thank you Harry. Even though it is not the same hub that I have, if the hole pattern for mounting it to the flange is the same as mine, then it should work.

Chuck,
He is still either in Mentone or on his way back. They take it as a working vacation. They usually take about three weeks to a month.

Thank you, Mike. That is probably the reason your dad has not returned my call.

Chuck:
I'll probably go to the airport tomorrow, I'll check the hole pattern and get back with you. I know it is a 6 hole pattern and just eyeballing your pic, it looks pretty close. Could you give me measurements of say center to center on the "x" holes...today? If they are close enough to what I have...I'll box it up and send it to you.

Thanx a bunch, Harry. Yes, across the diameter, center to center is 3 15/16".
