Happy birthday to Kevin "hognose" O'Brien & Nick Sheryka. Ain't July the greatest? Here was one of my greatest gifts back in '86'. 2 brand new Air Commands in the boxes!

These guys, Ruger & Jack Daniels, were very helpful during the assembly process! Unfortunately , they are no longer with us.

Flying my then very basic 447 into the Reading Motorcycle Club Anniversary Bash. I don't know how I gained all this extra weight in less than 20 years. But time sure does fly when you're havin' fun!

i USE TO FLY LIKE THAT. NO SHIRT. AND NOW I use a shirt to cover the airfoil deflector and a hat to keep what ever is left of my hair.

Chris, was the Air Command a hit with the bikers?

Surprisingly, not much. I buzzed the gig real good , then landed in a field across the street. I thought it would draw a crowd but it didn't. I then took off again cause it was real hot, flew around for a while, then landed again same spot.
Decided I pay admission & get drunk like everyone else. They let me park at the entrance. Got my mug, but before I could tap my first beer, I had a small group that wanted to see me fly. ALRIGHT! But I'm gonna use the farmers driveway, Go watch for traffic. Nice runway! Then I landed & got drunk for 2 days. Picked up gyro with trailer.
Not that much interest..... Must be that biker mentallity.... OOPS... I'm a biker & an RMC member for ten years! I like gyro people better. I've been a PRA member longer. I knew I should have got my lifetime membership when it would have really been a deal. I just didn't know what would last longer....me or the PRA.
Long Live The PRA !!!!!!!!!!
