You have some really clear colorful movies and the HD one is excellent. The pictures of tabletop are beautiful. They make me wish I could fly in OR., lucky duck....

the gimbal is going slow. Done a few more r-44 tests and am now just waiting for the sphere to get fitted. Been very busy with paying work so I have not been able to focus on it as much lately.

Always a pleasure to watch Shawn. You articulate and show us particularly well, the joy of what we all aspire to. Complete freedom together with the adrenaline buzz of auto gyro flight.

I just re-mixed the music so you can hear more rotors and engine..... Otherwise, the video is the same. http://files.rotor-head.com/site/video/strip_flying.html

Hm...it won't play. I get a message to install additional software for Quicktime, I do, it says I may have to close and reopen the video after the software upgrade. I do, and it always plays music and shows a blank white screen. Guess i can try it after a reboot...

Shawn,
Great Video, as usual, shot of Mt. McLoughlin between the hangers, nice touch.
I went over to see Paul Block at 3S4 (Illinois Valley Airport) couple weeks ago, Paul said you stopped by on the way to the coast, quiet-a-character!

He is a character. Nice guy.. I was hoping to get his number and bring my gyro out to Cave Junction sometime. If you have it (or yours) send me a PM... We should have a little get-together... cheers....

I upgraded to the latest version of QT, and BINGO! I got it to work tonight. Is it just me? Or did my sophmoric gyro vid postings rouse some recent upsurge of interest in postings of new Spring Videos from our buddies on RWF here?

I remember one of the first gyro videos I watched was the Table Top one, and then the River Flying one. This one is really nice! I especially like the cam on the runway, and the gyro zooming down over it, doing a climb and rudder turn, then zooming back over the cam.
