I have a set of 28' Rotordyne blades and hub bar for sale. I will take $1,000 for them. I switched to SportCopter blades last year.
I also have a Blue McCutchen 5' hub bar for sale. Asking $350.
I will be bringing both of these items to Mentone. If you can't find me ask Tom Milton. I'll be staying in his motorhome.

Chuck,
I was looking for a 5ft. hub bar to make my 23 ft. blades to 25 ft. but I have been told recently that the blades and hub bar are made as a set and more than likely the holes will not line up.
My blades and hub bar are red, did someone paint yours blue or is there a difference other than the color??

Mike,
I can't comment on the holes not lining up part. I read the same post as you and that was the first time I heard of that. I guess if the holes don't line up you could drill new holes. But that wouldn't look very good or help the strength.
The main use for a used hub bar is to use the Vortech blades. With a modification the Vortech blades slide right in.
The blue color is in the fiberglass material. You were able to order whatever blade color you wanted from the factory. As long as it was white, red or blue. :)

I was told the blades and hub bar are made as a set and drilled together. The holes are very close but sometimes not close enough.
Too bad we are not closer and we could just try them.

Just to try it, I'll bring out the hub to the club hangar this weekend. The are a couple of sets of 23' McCutchen blades sitting around. I'll see how they fit.

Thanks Chuck.
Then we will just have to figure out if my 23's are exactly like your 23's....LOL

Chuck, please do, I would love to know the results? I have several ideas on relocating the holes in the hub. The new owner of the Skywheels tooling said they sometimes just redrill to 1/2" holes to correct minor misalignment, but I didn't want to bore out my short hub also. It wasn't that dire.
$350 sounds like a fair price anyway.

I had a set of O.D.Green Skywheels. Dennis Fetters built 3 Air Command single seat machines that he did in OD green with OD green Skywheels as a sales pitch to the military.

do you still have the blades?
When you say 28' I assume that means overall assembled diameter. If so what size center bar do they have and is it included?
Best regards
Stan
