Wow! I wondered how he "looked around" by remote control...the head gyroscope seems to work with very little lag time.

The military only recently achieved this kind of sophistication in UAVs, and here it is on the doorstep of the well-heeled hobbyist. Amazing.

This may be a good substitute for flying if live to be old enough to where I can not safely fly a "real" aircraft any more.

This would be very good for those who are afraid to fly (like my wife). She could sit on the ground and look around through the goggles as I skim the tree tops :)
