This was another great day. Tina got a call from a photographer looking for a gyro to take pic's of for Flaunt magazine. Tina set it all up, all I had to do was show up with my gyro at Salton sea, about 500 mile round trip, and I get a good paycheck. Thanks to Ron Klock from chapter 1 how lives there showed up, and we found a road that I could fly from. It was only about 300 ft but a -250 sea level it was more than enough. Loads of power and plenty of lift. What a great place to fly, and get payed for it.

After I flew for about 2 hours a model showed up and Curt the photographer took all kinds of pic's of her with my gyro, usually I don't like people touching my gyro, but in this case I made an exception. All in all a day that I will not forget.

Ron Klock took a video and put it on utube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NAx69mTCGlU Thank's Ron

When I get the pic's from Curt I'll post them.

Dave:

Great video and nice flying. I once won a pizza bet over the Salton Sea. I had a friend that said that there were no 'seas' in the United States. I bet him that he was incorrect, then showed him the Salton Sea on the map!!
